Memories

Here's a little game! I like games....who doesn't? Leave a comment on my blog of a memory that you and I have had together. It doesn't matter if you've known me for a short time, or a long time, anything you remember! Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you.Ready, Set, GO

Remember that one time when we were in the grocery store and we totally had the produce guy thinking we were wife #1 and wife #2 and then a real wife #1,2,3,and 4 came walking in the produce section? Oh wait...that was just a few weeks ago. Let's see...remember that one time that we talked on the phone until 2 in the morning? Oh...wait, that was just a few weeks ago too.

Seriously...the first memory I have of you is my first Sunday in our ward. You were the first person to be-friend me. Truly. You held no judgements. You simply smiled and told me how you knew how hard it was to have a husband that had to work on Sundays. The funny thing was....I didn't tell anyone that was the case. You are an amazing friend, and I am super blessed to have you.
So, why I am leaving a comment at midnight when we have plans to run in 6 hours?

I remember meeting you for the first time in Easton's 2nd grade class. I thought you were the nicest person, and I was so happy that you were his new Aide! I was so excited to find out that you were Camry's aide for 5th grade (why do they always steal you away?...because you're so good!) ...My favorite memory is lunch at the Hogle Zoo...that was a great conversation!
Here's to making many many more memories!! xoxo

hmmm. I have to try and think. Um, Oh yah, I remember you buying us lunch from Cafe Rio. We went to Wine's Park and chowed down and chatted and I pushed my kids on the swing. It was so nice to do that!! I also remember loving your pedicured toes. So cute. I think they had a unique version of a french pedicure! Here's to many more memories in the making!!!

Remember when you told me what a nerd my husband was when he mispronouced name after name during baptisims. Until you finally leaned over and told him how it was really pronounced (probaby thinking "ya dumbie!") Then you were worried to tell me about it because you thought you would offend me! HA.... you didn't know me all that well yet! Gotta love it.

Which memory....The first time that I ever saw you was at a Stake RS function and you were in the choir. I play this game with myself where I focus in on voices that I love and figure out which singer it is. Most people find this bizarre and I personally think that it is because they can't do it but anyway..... that day I kept hearing this amazing voice I figured out that it was you and I went up to you afterward and told you how beautifully you sang and you seemed alarmed that I had noticed...I miss hearing you sing. My one of my favorite memories that I was smiling about just last night while I was at Barnes and Noble was the night that I went and picked up our Harry Potter books at midnight and you kept me company on the cell phone so that I could stay awake in the store. When I got to your house we just sat on the steps until 3:30 in the morning just talking. It was a great night followed by a really tired day:)

I remember the first time I met you dropping our kids off at the park to ride the bus to open court, caos! You were so nice and talked to me about your amazing chiropractor and how exersising helped you to thrive in life. Then you freaked out that I was the Kristen that knew Dawna. I seriously left thinking I just met the coolest girl! I have had so much fun getting to know you!

The slippy slide is not purchasable, if that's a word? It was some leftover plastic from her husbands work. Way too fun and easy to make!
