This is the book I mentioned in my previous blog. Ruth at the Country Loft swapped books with me, I lent her Nien Cheng's Life and Death in Shanghai and she lent me this one. Thanks, Ruth-
I also want to read another Halocaust survival story, The Zoo Keeper's Wife. Anyone read this one? Just heard Dianne Ackermann on KUER's Radio West program. Sounds neat.

I really enjoyed Life and Death in Shanghai. I'm glad you did too. :) I don't like the book I'm reading now, but it keeps my mind going until I pick up my next one: Shantaram. If it's here before I'm done with this one, I don't think trading it in will be tough. ;)

Ummmmm....I think your reading level is a lot higher than mine. I think I will stick with Beverly Cleary's Ramona Quimby age 8.
